Who Should Come? Those who are flexible minded and curious.
Prerequisite? Spontaneity and a cooperative heart
We align ourselves with lovely Bed and Breakfast hosted by the Cuban people to support the environment and the communities that we visit. We choose to be in the center of all in Havana and in the quietness of the countryside in the tobacco fields.
CUBA Tuition Cost- $3600
Roundtrip Airfare from Miami to Havana Cuba (we will all meet in Miami at given airport location)

Ferry to Regla and Casablanca across the Havana Bay and the best scene of Havana.
Three-hour journey to tobacco farms and coffee farms (we will stay the night in the countryside)
Comfortable air-conditioned bed-and-breakfast lodging
Welcome dinner (food is so good and so inexpensive in Cuba,) We eat at Paladors locally run restaurants not government owned.

Two veteran magazine photojournalists and available coaches on the trip. Karen Kamauski has been a contract photographer for National Geographic Magazine for over 20-years, human rights groups world-wide, she won the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award and several others. Karen received a Knight Fellowship at Ohio University. Most of all Karen’s fun, helpful and will be an available photography coach to help you make your own amazing photo stories.
Sherrlyn has been photographing professionally for 25-years. Her career began by accident while she was in Guatemala by Lake Atitlán. She spent ten years working as a foreign correspondent in Central America, and then worked as a war-correspondent in the Middle East covering the Iraq war and beyond. Her work appears world-wide from Sweden to the U.S. in quality magazines. She received a scholarship to Ohio University for her Master’s degree.
Also joining us on this trip is Bill Douthitt, former photography director of National Geographic Magazine. Today Bill is the photo director of the Science Magazine, AAAS.
